No. It tells you what the contract says and shows you where, so you can decide, or know what to ask a lawyer or accountant. It doesn't give legal or financial advice.
Will it find every clause about a topic?
It finds the passages most relevant to your question and cites them. For a big decision, ask follow-up questions and read the cited passages yourself. FileAI helps you read; it isn't a full legal review.
What kinds of documents work best?
Contracts, leases, terms and conditions, insurance policies, handbooks and similar documents, saved as PDFs with selectable text or as Word files. Scanned PDFs aren't supported yet.
Are my contracts kept private?
Yes. Your files are stored privately and are never used to train AI. To answer your questions, text is sent to OpenAI's API, and OpenAI doesn't train on API data. Deleting a file deletes those copies too.
